PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) signed an MoU with PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia today to develop, certify, manufacture, and commercialize the Intercrus Sola, an electric VTOL aircraft for urban air mobility.

The agreement was signed by PTDI's Director of Commerce, Technology & Development, Moh. Arif Faisal, and PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia’s Founder & CEO, Jeremy Hasian Saragih. The signing was witnessed by PTDI’s President Director, Gita Amperiawan.

The Intercrus Sola, capable of carrying four passengers and a payload of up to 1,200 kg, promises to revolutionize urban transport with speeds 9-10 times faster than conventional cars. It has a range of 100 km and a maximum speed of 150 km/h, meeting the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) Part 27 under the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of Indonesia’s Ministry of Transportation.

PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia is a start-up focused on electric VTOL aircraft within the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) sector. The Intercrus Sola project is poised to address traffic congestion in metropolitan areas, reduce transit times, and enhance economic efficiency, while also contributing to PTDI's engineering capabilities in the AAM sector.

"This partnership not only promises to improve civil aviation and logistics but also holds potential for military and defense applications,” Gita Amperiawan, President Director of PTDI.

The MoU establishes a foundation for both companies to work together in developing and commercializing the Intercrus Sola. The agreement includes the formation of a technical team to drive the industrial technology forward, ensuring the product meets both civilian and potential military needs.

Jeremy Hasian Saragih, Founder & CEO of PT Intercrus Aero Indonesia, said, "By collaborating with PTDI, we are in a strong position to finalize and certify our prototype design with the DGCA, with plans for subsequent certification by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)."
