Even as Ukrainian drones have attacked ships near Kronstadt in recent weeks, Russian MoD is going ahead with the Fleet 2026 naval and air show in Kronstadt starting June 10.
Arms exporter Rosoboronexport will be presenting the unmanned boats Briz, BEK-6, and Unmanned Water System for the first time.
They feature a stealthy composite hull, a control system with artificial intelligence elements, a modern navigation system, and a flexible payload.
The prototypes on display may be built in Russia or at partner national sites as part of technological cooperation," said Alexander Mikheev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Union of Mechanical Engineers and Director General of Rosoboronexport.
During the exhibition, Rosoboronexport plans to hold 75 presentations and displays of Russian naval equipment and weapons for foreign partners in an outdoor exhibition pavilion and on the pier.
In the marine robotics segment, the company will showcase the Briz, Orkan, BEK-6, and Bezukipazhnaya Vodnaya System unmanned boats, the MMT-300 autonomous underwater vehicle, and the Klavesin-1RE system. Increased attention is expected due to growing demand in this global market segment.
Surface ships will include a Project 11356 NG frigate armed with a multi-channel air defense system with a combined ammunition complement, a Tigr corvette with a Zaslon multifunctional radar system, a Karakurt-E corvette, and a Project 12701 Alexandrite-E mine countermeasure ship. The combat ships presented by Rosoboronexport are being built with extensive use of stealth technologies, and some are designed for integration with robotic systems.
Among submarines, the Amur-1650 Project 636 and 677E diesel-electric vessels will be on display. They boast powerful missile and torpedo armament, enhanced stealth by minimizing physical signatures, and an increased submerged range.
The displays will also include various modern Russian-made naval weapons and coastal assets, including the Rubezh-ME coastal missile system.
