Poland has signed an agreement estimated €280 million with Alenia Aermacchi to purchase M-346 Advanced Jet Trainers, becoming the fourth customer after Israel, Singapore and Italy.
The Polish-Italian agreement in the years 2016-2017 includes delivery of 8 new advanced training aircraft M-346, simulators, and computer assisted training and logistics package. The agreement also provides for the training of technical personnel and flying.
The contract was signed today at Deblin Air base, the training centre of Polish Air Force. The contract has the option for additional four aircraft at a later date.
