Raytheon Wins $12 Million MH-60 Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems Contract

Raytheon Co has won a $12 million contract to supply 16 turret units and eight electronics units for the Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems for US Navy MH-60 aircraft.  

The system is an airborne, electro-optic, forward-looking infra-red, turreted sensor package that provides long-range surveillance, high altitude target acquisition, tracking, range-finding, and laser designation, and for the HELLFIRE missile, and for all tri-service and North Atlantic Treaty Organization laser guided munitions.  

Work is expected to be completed by July 2015.
