The Embraer business unit will present its full portfolio of integrated solutions at the event. This includes state-of-the-art radar technologies, unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and advanced information and communications systems.

Such military aircraft as the KC-390 jet-powered military tactical transport plane that is in the product development stage, the family of ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconaissance) aircraft, the company’s full range of VIP transportation jets, and the Super Tucano light-attack aircraft can also be known by visitors.

“We are delighted to participate, once again, in this important event for the Asia-Pacific market,” said Jackson Schneider, President of Embraer Defense & Security. “Embraer is a leading aerospace and defense industry, with a growing presence in the Asia-Pacific region, and we are committed to providing countries with the most advanced products and integrated solutions to suit their requirements.”

Since the establishment of a regional office in Singapore, in 2000, Embraer’s presence in the defense and security arena in Asia-Pacific has grown. Embraer has been collaborating with India’s Defence, Research and Development Organization (DRDO) to develop and produce three EMB 145 AEW&C jet platforms for AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control) use, according to specifications set by the DRDO and the Indian Air Force.

In addition, the Indonesian Air Force ordered 16 Super Tucano light-attack turboprop aircraft, including ground support stations and an integrated logistics package. The delivery of the aircraft started in 2012. The armed forces of Thailand, India, and Pakistan also operate Embraer’s aircraft for government transportation.
