Turkey To Purchase Two F-35 Fighter Jets

Turkey has decided to order two Lockheed Martin built F-35A Fighter jets with Blok-3F configuration under Low Rate Initial Production-10 (LRIP-10), its undersecretary for state-run defence said in a statement on May 6.

In addition, the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) also announced the plans to set up the Final Assembly and Check-Out line and Depot Level Maintenance Center for F135 engine.

It is the first order of Turkey's pre-announced plan to purchase 100 F-35 jets for $16 billion.
