Patrick Boissier To Depart DCNS Early, Guillou Proposed Successor

Patrick Boissier, chairman and CEO of DCNS intends to cut short his tenure by five months, DCNS said in a release.

The decision was taken by him to provide clearness on the designation of the next Chairman and CEO.

Patrick Boissier will be the new President for GICAN (French Marine Industry Group), the press release stated.

The Board of Directors will hold a meeting on 23 July in this regard and the appointment of new Chairman and CEO.

Following a selection process conducted by the Nomination Committee of DCNS, Hervé Guillou will be proposed as his successor at the July 23 board meeting. The board’s proposal will then be sent to the French president, as the decision to appoint the chairman and CEO of DCNS rests with him.
