Israel will halt the sale of Unmanned Aerial Systems to Russia as a by-product of the Ukraine conflict.

According to reports, the Israeli Ministry of Defense has ordered local manufacturers to stop fresh negotiations with Russia and is likely a result of political pressure from the US.

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Aeronautics Defense Systems (ADS) had earlier signed contracts with Russia for the sale of drones.

However, the latest order covers new contracts and follow ups of the existing contracts will be permitted.

European countries have also shown concern about the future sale of Israeli-made UAS to Russia, Flight Global reported citing unnamed sources.
