US DoD Awards Two Contracts Worth $169 Million To Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin has won a $91 million modification contract for United Arab Emirates (UAE) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) to acquire continental US and outside continental US support for services and equipment.

Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2019.

In another US DoD contract announcement, LM has also won a $78 million contract for a service life extension program (SLEP) for the Army tactical missile system (ATACMS).

The SLEP will be a modification work order that will leverage currently available, service life-expired ATACMS Block I missiles into policy compliant area attack munitions.

Work has an estimated completion date of Dec. 29, 2018.
