Russia has delivered four Mi-28 attack helicopters to Iraq to counter Islamic State (IS), Russian Military Source was quoted as saying by Interfax Sunday.
The helicopters were part of earlier contracts Iraq signed worth around $4.3bn in 2012 that included 36 Mi-28 attack helicopters and 28 Pantsir units.
The Mi-28s began arriving in Iraq in January last year. The last delivery took place in September.
In July, Russia delivered five Su-24 ground attack aircraft worth an estimated $500 million to help in the fight.
