Leidos has won a contract from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Communications and Information (NCI) Agency to provide systems engineering and integration support for the Ballistic Missile Defense Programme Office.

The total contract value is $77 million, if all options are exercised. The NCI Agency provides the Alliance with advanced information and communications technology and C4ISR, including cyber and missile defense.

Under the Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) System Engineering, Integration and Test contract, Leidos and its partners from Canada, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Turkey, the UK, and the US, will support the BMD program office working together as an integrated product team to deliver NATO BMD capability.

The work includes development of the requirements for the BMD enhancements to the NATO C3 systems, including the refinement and maintenance of the NATO BMD architecture.

The team will support the design, development and test of the interfaces of these systems to NATO and national weapons and sensors. They will also be responsible for the continued operation and periodic upgrade of the Integration Test Bed and the system prototypes used in that test bed.
