Finmeccanica Signs €110 Million Contract For 11 Agustawestland Helicopters
The Finmeccanica Company has signed a contract valued at approximately €110 million for eleven helicopters with Lease Corporation International (LCI).
The agreement concerns a mix of AW169, AW139 and AW189 helicopters. The helicopters will be supplied by LCI to its clients in 2015 and 2016 to perform a range of missions including offshore transport, search and rescue and aero-medical transport.
This contract further increases the number of firm orders placed by LCI for the whole AgustaWestland Family of new generation helicopters, since a number of AW139 and AW189 helicopters from previous orders had already been delivered to LCI by the Finmeccanica Company.
