Maini Group Bags Contract For Snecma's New Engine Programs
Maini Group has won a multi-million dollar worth contract from Snecma (Safran) for supplying precision machined components for the LEAP and Silvercrest engine programs.
The contract, which was signed on Tuesday, has further established Maini as a strategic supplier to Snecma, having commenced the partnership nearly a decade ago.
LEAP and Silvercrest are new engine programs of Snecma. The LEAP ("Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion") is a high-bypass turbofan engine for commercial aircraft developed and produced through CFM International (a 50/50 joint company between Snecma and GE) and the Silvercrest is a turbofan engine under development to power super mid-size to large cabin business jets.
