Lockheed,Sikorsky JV wins $2 Billion US Navy Helicopter Contract

Pentagon announced Friday that Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky joint venture, Marine Helicopter support has won a $2 billion contract for servicing the US Navy's H-60 helicopters.

The contract covers performance-based logistics on 1,710 assemblies and components, and also includes the repair, modification, overhaul and replacement of hardware for the Navy's fleet of H-60 helicopters, Reuters quoted Pentagon announcement.

The contract is valid till  Jan. 31, 2020.
