Peru To Buy Three AgustaBell Ab-412 Helos From Dutch Navy
Peru has signed a contract for the transfer of three Agusta Bell AB-412 helicopters of the Royal Dutch Navy to Navy of Peru, Peru Ministry of Defense said in a statement Monday.
The helicopters will be used for search and rescue and medical evacuation and will complement the logistical ship BAP “Tacna” acquired from the Dutch Navy.
Defense Minister Jakke Valakivire called the historical ties of friendship and cooperation between Peru and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, especially in the field of defense, and hoped that this tradition of collaboration will continue.
