Turkey Issues RFI For Unmanned Aircraft System

The Turkish Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSM) has requested for information from various defense suppliers to procure MALE or HALE category Armed Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) for the nation's Air Force on April 28.

The Request for Information (RFI) is issued by SSM within the scope of Armed UAS Project in order to gather general information on potential suppliers of the Armed UAS in the market and have an idea of availability of the required Armed UAS.

The RFI is also issued for investigating and clarifying the system and sub-system based technical details and requirements and to define logistics support requirements for the system as a part of the Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation effort.

The RFI will be received until 11th May 2015 by both foreign or domestic companies.

Representation document that includes representation extent and the authorized personnel’s identity information shall be submitted to SSM by the authorized personnel to receive the RFI.
