GE, Pratt & Whitney Win $210 Million Adaptive Engine Tech Development Contracts

General Electric and Pratt & Whitney have won contracts worth $210 million for Adaptive Engine Technology Development order. 

Both the companies will share 50% of the total money. The contracts include additional research and the resulting data will further mature aircraft engine technologies and decrease risk to achieve a system level preliminary design review and subsequent Adaptive Engine Research Design compatibility review.
