Raytheon Wins Philippines' Maritime Border C4ISR Contract

Raytheon has won the  $25 million contract to deliver sensing, command and control, and communications systems along with the training and sustainment services necessary to operationalize maritime border security capabilities for the Republic of the Philippines.

The planned works under second phase of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) maritime border security contract includes Installation of a common operating picture platform in the National Coast Watch Control (NCWC) and National Coast Watch Stations in two different Philippine provinces. Further, the work includes design, installation and testing of electro/optical infrared cameras.

The works in the contract also includes continued integration of command, control, and communications equipment and infrastructure.

Furthermore, the increment II contract includes Construction of a training center, communications and surveillance upgrades to Philippine Coast Guard vessels. Besides it also includes sustainment, training, and transition of capabilities to the government of the Philippines.
