UVision announced Monday that it has unveiled its full line of multi-operational BLOS (Beyond Line of Sight) precision loitering solutions for a range of operational scenarios at the Paris Air Show 2015.
These systems integrate highly advanced stabilized Electro-Optics day/night cameras with low noise and thermal signature. Further, they are suitable for deployment from land, air and sea.
With advanced deployment, target acquisition and attack capabilities, the systems can be utilized by all military echelons, from the individual soldier to central command, for both strategic and tactical targets. Their ability to loiter above the target and their extreme maneuverability enable smart and real-time decision-making.
HERO systems enable high-speed transit flight and low-speed loitering, depending on the tactical or strategic needs of the mission – handling moving targets, moving light-duty vehicles, tanks, and other strategic objectives.
The systems allow targets to be predetermined using GPS, or visually selected when the target presents itself. HERO’s advanced datalink and real-time intelligence delivers up-to-the-minute situational awareness. In cases where the attack is aborted, HERO systems can be recalled and another target selected.
The company will display the entire HERO family at the exhibition that includes six configurations designed for assorted tasks at various ranges.
