Raytheon has won a $900 million wide mission support contract from US special operations command (SOCOM).
Under this Group A contract, Raytheon Blackbird Technologies will provide professional, program management and technical services to special operations forces (SOF) around the world.
The Group A SOCOM-Wide Mission Support (SWMS) contract vehicle is designed for large companies to work as prime contractors. It has a five-year ordering period, the company announced Tuesday.

Under the Warfighter FOCUS contract, Raytheon is currently providing Army SOF with specialized exercise support personnel and equipment to help provide a fully immersive training environment.
The company has also provided comprehensive training solutions to both US and coalition SOF units, including staff and battlespace management training.
