Saab Continues Training And Simulation Systems Supplies To Norway

Saab has received a SEK 141 million order from Norway to supply advanced training and simulation systems.

Saab will provide the Norwegian Combat Training Centre with the simulation systems plus support and will start delivery from 2016 to 2020, the company said in a statement Thursday.

Today’s order is a continuation of the existing service contract but also includes an upgrade of the training facility. The Norwegian Army will also receive Saab’s new generation sight simulator unit for vehicles.

The Norwegian Combat Training Centre consists of a complete battalion-level training system for soldiers, vehicles, anti-tank weapons along with a first-class exercise control system.
