The Colombian Air Force has received four AN/TPS-78 3D radars from Northrop Grumman.

A total of four of the systems were delivered on October 12, having arrived in Bogota after flights from the United States. The radars cost $126 million.

The radars fill the first phase of the Air Force's Integrated Air Defense System. The Air Force is rumored to be testing Raytheon surface-to-air missiles to assess whether they can be used for the air defense system.

Colombia purchased the systems in December 2012.
