SAIC Wins $757 Million US Army Computer Resources Support Contract

Science Applications International Corp has won a $757 million task order increase to its Systems and Computer Resources Support (SCRS) contract from the US Army Contracting Command Redstone to provide a variety of systems engineering and software development services for the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate (SED).

The contract was awarded under the US army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) Expedited Professional & Engineering Support Services (EXPRESS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Further, the contract has a one year ordering period and a two-year period of performance.

AMRDEC provides and sustains world-class aviation and missile systems to the joint war fighter, supporting national security and defense strategies today and in the future.

Under this task order, SAIC will perform life cycle systems and software engineering support to ensure that the Army receives the latest technology and equipment needed for mission success.
