Five Firms Win $500 Million US Army Base Construction Contract

The five construction firms have won $500 million worth contract from the US army to build new facilities on military bases worldwide.

The work will be performed at US government locations worldwide and is expected to be complete by November 8, 2023, the department of defense announced today.

Contractor will provide architect-engineering, environmental services including operations and maintenance, environmental restoration, Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), and military family housing programs worldwide to the US military bases.

The five companies are URS Group of San Antonio, Texas; Jacobs Government Services of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; HDR Environmental, Operations and Construction of Englewood, Colorado; MWH-CARDNO TEC-BAKER-JV of San Antonio, Texas; and Tetra Tech of Pasadena in California.

The work includes all efforts necessary to manage and execute… services primarily for environmental projects including planning and programming, restoration, quality (compliance and pollution prevention) and conservation.
