The Philippines Air Force has taken delivery of the third and final Airbus C295 medium transport aircraft from Airbus DS.

The aircraft was ferried from the final assembly line at Seville, Spain to Clark Air Base, Philippines, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

PAF took the delivery of its first C295 medium airlifter in March 2015. The second aircraft was received in October 2015. Philippines signed a $113 million contract with Airbus in 2014.

The C295 is categorized as medium lift aircraft equivalent to the Fokker F-27 aircraft being maintained by the PAF 220th Airlift Wing, the C295s have rear ramp door similar to that of the C-130s for easier access and loading/unloading of passengers and cargoes.
