Oshkosh Defense has won a contract worth $243 million from the US Army for 657 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles and logistics support.
“Oshkosh Defense was awarded a $243,767,232 modification (P00004) to contract W56HZV-15-C-0095 for 657 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles; 25 trailers; 2,977 kits; 12 months of system engineering and program management; test support; 175-test hardware; and one technical data package,” the US Department of Defense announced Tuesday.
Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 1, 2024.
The Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) is a United States military program to part-replace the Humvee that is currently in service.
