Rockwell Collins has received a contract from Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) to supply communications and navigation components for radios being indigenously manufactured by ECIL for Indian defense forces.
These components supplied by Rockwell Collins are used for integration into digital V/UHF radio, an IP-enabled transeceiver for ship to ship, ship to shore and ground to air communications, the company said in a statement.
“The recent award is part of a long-term agreement signed with ECIL in 2010,” said Sunil Raina, managing director, India, for Rockwell Collins.
