Cessna Aircraft has been awarded a foreign military sales contract worth $14 million to supply two Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX aircraft and four Cessna T-206H Stationair aircraft to Pakistan.

“Cessna Aircraft Co., Wichita, Kansas, has been awarded a $14,095,939 firm-fixed-price contract for two Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX aircraft, four Cessna T-206H Stationair aircraft, sustainment support and associated training,” the US Department of Defense announced Wednesday.

Contractor will provide two new Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX aircraft modified for aeromedical evacuation, and four new Cessna T-206H Stationair aircraft modified for aeromedical evacuation, according to the statement.

A 24-month sustainment package consisting of spares, tooling, and support equipment will be provided for each aircraft.  Pilot and maintainer training will also be provided for the Pakistan Army personnel.

Work will be performed at Wichita, Kansas, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 30, 2016, the statement added.
