L-3 Communications To Provide Warfighter Readiness Research For $200 Mn To US Air Force

L-3 Communications has won $200 million contract to provide warfighter readiness and training research to the US Air Force.

The contract includes research, development, evaluation, and validation of training approaches, methods, tool, instrumentation, and enterprise infrastructure for learning and performance, US Department of Defense said in a statement Thursday.

Work will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2023.

This award is the result of a competitive acquisition with two offers received. Fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $4.6 million are being obligated at the time of award, US Dod said.
