Raytheon To Provide Patriot Missile Technical Assistance To UAE

Raytheon has been awarded a Foreign Military Sales contract estimated $21 million to provide technical assistance for deployment of the PATRIOT missile system for UAE.

“Raytheon Southeast Asia Systems Co., Andover, Massachusetts, was awarded a $21,598,887 firm-fixed-price, Foreign Military Sales contract (U.A.E.) for technical assistance in the training, planning, fielding, deployment, operation, maintenance and sustainment of the PATRIOT missile system, associated equipment, and logistics support,” the US Department of defense announced Wednesday.  

Work will be performed in the U.A.E., with an estimated completion date of July 31, 2017, the statement said.  

Fiscal 2016 other procurement funds in the amount of $10,598,886 were obligated at the time of the award.  Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity, the statement added.
