Leidos To Provide US Army With Technical Solutions For Countering Narcoterrorism

Leidos has won a contract from US Army Space and Missile Defense Command to provide technical solutions for countering Narcoterrorism.

Leidos is one of four contractors eligible to compete for work in support of the Counter-Narcoterrorism Technology Program Office (CNTPO).

Under the contract, Leidos will provide technical solutions and mission support, for command, control, communications, information, detection and monitoring technology and systems to disrupt and degrade the national security threats posed by drug trafficking, piracy, transnational organized crime, and threat finance networks reasonably related to illicit drug trafficking activities.

The CNPTO develops technology for interagency and multinational operations to disrupt, deter, and deny narcoterrorist activities in an effort to reduce trafficking in illegal narcotics and materials that support global terrorist activities.
