ULS Wins $860 Million For US Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicles Contract

United Launch Services has been awarded an $860 million contract for Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle launch capability for the Delta IV and Atlas V families of launch vehicles.

Contractor will provide launch capability options, including launch capability, mission integration, base and range support, maintenance commodities, Delta depreciation, and Atlas depreciation, US department of defense said in a statement last Saturday.

They will also provide for mission assurance, program management, systems engineering, integration of the space vehicle with the launch vehicle, launch site and range operations, and launch infrastructure maintenance and sustainment.

Work is expected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2017.
