Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $55.6 million to upgrade Singaporean, Morocco and Taiwanese F-16 aircraft.
Lockheed Martin won a $22 million contract to upgrade Singaporean F-16 aircraft, $16 million to upgrade Moroccan and $12 million to provide developmental support equipment for 144 Taiwanese F-16 fighter jets. The Taiwanese contract also calls for Lockheed Martin to provide specialized familiarization on the use of integrated ground software to support F-16 aircraft maintenance and accident investigations, US department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.
The work on Singaporean contract is expected to be complete by June 30, 2023, Moroccan by June 9, 2019 and Taiwanese by May 31, 2022.
