Islamic state, a Jihadist militant group in Iraq and Syria, have unveiled a new deadly ‘drone weapon’ through a video that is modelled on a US design.
Based on US-built ‘MQ-9 Reaper’ unmanned aerial vehicle, these drones are filmed carrying out an attack on US-backed allied forces, the first by the terrorist group, Daily Star reported.
It comes just hours after the group's brutal leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was reportedly injured in an air strike.
According to the report, in the past, jihadist group have used the unmanned devices for reconnaissance missions, but this marks the first time they have used it to attack.
