Raytheon Awarded SM Guided Missile Development Support Contract

Raytheon has been awarded a $113 million contract from the US Navy to provide engineering and technical services for Standard Missile (SM) shipborne guided missile in version 2, 3, and 6.

“Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $113,185,103 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00024-17-C-5410) for Standard Missile engineering and technical services for Navy, other government agencies, and foreign military sales for fiscal years 2017 through 2021,” the US Department of Defense announced Monday.

These services include research and development efforts; design, systems and production engineering; technical services; evaluation services; component improvement services and production proofing services for missile producibility, missile production and shipboard integration, the statement says. 

This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $466,054,483. 

Work is expected to be completed by April 2022.
