Ukraine Defence Exports Volume Touches US$1.9 Billion
Ukraine's defence exports growing

Export volume of Ukroboronprom (UOP_, the Ukrainian Defence manufacturing and export agency, has touched US$1.894 billion in 2017.

Actual export contracts in the first half of 2017 were worth US$345 million as against US$769.5 million for the full year 2016.

These operating results of the state’s largest MIC association were mentioned in the annual report of the new UOP management.

"We resumed work of many enterprises, promoting products of Ukrainian defense industry to new markets." UOP representatives report said. Further, the report added that for the first time in the years of independence, our country begins to export not "unexpended balances", but new high-tech products.

The UOP product portfolio at 01.07.2017 is 2,366 billion USD, UOP Annual report added. Among partners, UOP supplies 68 countries with military and dual-purpose products; Also UOP is negotiating with 83 countries.
