Lockheed Martin is being awarded a $49 million modification contract to provide equipment upgrades and spares to the Aegis Weapon System baseline, systems engineering, and staging services in support of the Japanese Computer Program Test Site.

Work is expected to be completed by September 2020, the US department of Defense said in a statement Friday.

Foreign military sales funding in the amount of $49,215,810 will be obligated at time of award.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
