A Eurofighter crashed near to the Los Llanos air base in Albacete south of Madrid, Spain, as it returned from a military parade killing the pilot.

This is the second Eurofighter that has crashed in a month. An Italian Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft crashed into the sea during an airshow demonstration in south of Rome late last month.

The pilot died after a fighter jet that was returning from a national day parade crashed in southeastern Spain, A spokesman with Spain's Ministry of Defense said Thursday.

The spokesman said the fighter jet was among four that participated in the parade in Madrid.

In the previous incident, the aircraft completed a loop but then failed to get enough lift as it approached sea level. It slammed into the water just a few hundred meters offshore, sending up a huge plume of smoke and spray upon impact.
