Bell Helicopter’ Jet Ranger X Helicopter Receives Certification by EASA

Bell Helicopter’s Bell 505 Jet Ranger X has received a certification by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

“We are hosting our first Bell 505 European operators this month at our Bell Training Academy in Fort Worth and the first aircraft in the region is scheduled to be delivered at the beginning of 2018,” Glenn Isbell, executive vice president, Customer Support and Services said in a statement Sunday during the ongoing Dubai Air Show.

The Bell 505 has received certification from the civil certification authorities in the United States, Australia, Chile, Guatemala, Indonesia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, South Korea, Argentina and most recently, Japan, the company stated.

The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is Bell Helicopter’s new five-seat aircraft incorporating dynamic components, advanced aerodynamic design, a dual channel FADEC Turbomeca Arrius 2R engine, according to the company website.
