More Delays for Wedgetail
CANBERRA, Australia --- The Royal Australian Air Force's AUD4 billion Wedgetail surveillance aircraft faces further delays of up to five months and will not now be delivered until late November 2009.>> Initial problems causing delays were due to integration of the aircraft's Northrop Grumman-designed radar but the latest set-backs are believed to be attributable to other causes.>> The aircraft is now 28 months overdue.>> -ends->
