Gulfstream Wins $118M Logistics Support Contract for US Military’s Executive Jets

The Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation has received a $118 million contract to provide support to the C-20 and C-37 Gulfstream aircraft operated by the US Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard, the Department of Defense announced.

The awarded contract is also to fund the uninterrupted continuation of contractor logistics support services.

“Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., Savannah, Georgia, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $118,281,011 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract FA8106-13-D-0002 to exercise option year five to support the C-20 and C-37 fleet for the Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard, and to fund the uninterrupted continuation of contractor logistics support services,” the statement reads. 

Work is expected to be completed by August 31, 2018. 

The C-20 aircraft provide distinguished visitor (DV) airlift for military and government officials. They support the long range/low passenger load DV airlift niche, offering worldwide access while including a communications suite which supports worldwide secure voice and data communications for the DV and staff. And the C-37 is used primarily for transporting government and Defense Department officials and their staffs.
