Boeing Wins $195 Million USAF JDAM Tail Kits Contract

Boeing has been awarded a $195 million modification contract for Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) tail kits.

This modification brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $927.6 million provides for the production of additional JDAM tail kits. Work is expected to be complete by Jan. 30, 2020, the US department of defense said in a statement Thursday.

Fiscal 2016, 2017, and 2019 procurement funds in the amount of $195 million will be obligated at the time of award.
