Northrop Grumman Wins $209 Million Infrared Counter Measures Modification Contract

Northrop Grumman has won $209 million modification contract for Large Aircraft Infrared Counter Measures (LAIRCM) equipment and support to US Air Force and South Korea.

This modification provides for LAIRCM equipment and support in the calendar year 2018 base hardware buy, and brings the total cumulative face value of the contract to $1.5 billion, the US Department of Defense said in a statement Wednesday.

Work is expected to be complete by April 30, 2020.
