Lockheed Martin has won two separate modification contracts totalling $163 million for the production of additional Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Lot 10 interceptors and Missile Round Pallets- Transportable (MRP-T) for the system.
In a separate contract, Lockheed Martin won $145 million modification contract for the production of additional THAAD Lot 10 interceptors, one-shot devices, and associated product support. The value of this contract is increased from $1.2 billion to $1.4 billion. The work is expected to be complete by Aug. 31, 2021, US Department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.
Lockheed Martin also won $17 million modification contract to exercise an option for the production of additional Missile Round Pallets - Transportable (MRP-T) for the THAAD system. The value of this contract is increased from $978 million to $996 million. The work is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2021.
