Raytheon has been awarded a $395 million modification contract for Phased Array Tracking on Radar to Intercept Option Fire Unit for Romania.
Work is expected to be completed by April 30, 2020, the US department of defense said in a statement Thursday.
The US Army has earmarked $289 million at the time of awarding the contract. A similar modification contract was awarded to Raytheon last month.
Raytheon earlier this year had won a $2.3 billion hybrid contract for providing engineering services to the PATRIOT weapon systems program.
Apart from engineering services, Raytheon will offer services for ongoing support of software and to refresh for obsolescence to include support of systems outside the continental United States and partner country systems.
