Lockheed Martin and ThalesRaytheonSystems will provide NATO with a Territorial Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) command and control capability (C2).
ThalesRaytheonSystems will be the prime contractor and system integrator the defense solution, while Lockheed Martin is developing the ballistic missile defense planning capability through its Defense Design System (DDS), the company said in a statement Thursday.
The focus of the program is the upgradation, test and integration of NATO's command and control (C2) network to enable information National missile defense systems.
