L3 Technologies to Provide Two EA-18G Tactical Flight Trainers

L3 Technologies is awarded a $9.5 million contract for the procurement of two EA-18G Tactical Operational Flight Trainers (TOFT). 

Work is expected to be completed in November 2019, the US department of defense said in a statement Friday.

L3 Link's F/A-18 C/D Hornet, F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler TOFTs enable aircrews to prepare for the full range of force multiplier capabilities that the platform can support during rapidly changing battle scenarios. L3 Link has delivered F/A-18 and EA-18G TOFTs to the US Navy, the US Marine Corps and a number of international military services.

The L3 Link F/A and EA-18G TOFT trainer Shares a common architecture, simplifying simulator upgrades and lowering overall training system life-cycle costs.
