SAAB has completed testing its Gripen E multirole fighter aircraft with two Meteor Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missiles (BVRAAM) for the first time on Monday.

This test with Meteor is a part of the weapon integration progress in the Gripen E test programme. The next step is to continue to fly with different configurations and gradually expand the flight envelope, the company said in a statement Monday.
