Boeing has won $49 million contract for Maintenance Augmentation Team services for the Qatari Air Force AH-64E aircraft.

Work is expected to be completed by July 31, 2024, the US department of defense said in a statement Wednesday.

Boeing launched a production line to manufacture Apache Helicopters in Mesa, Arizona for the Qatari Amiri Air Forces in October this year. Qatar had signed a contract to buy 24 Apache armed helicopters for $667 million in 2016.
