Huntington Ingalls Wins $229M USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier Modification Contract
Huntington Ingalls won $229 million modification contract for the purchase of additional long lead time material in support of USS Enterprise (CVN 80) aircraft carrier.
The purpose of this action is to definitize efforts previously announced as an undefinitized contract action and increase the scope of the contract for additional long lead time material, the US department of defense said in a statement Thursday.
Work is expected to be complete by January 2023.
